My brand spankin' new laundry room!

I promised I would post about my laundry room makeover, so this is me delivering! We started out with a very bare, very boring room. This area had nothing going for it at all folks. I do a lot of laundry, and I can tell you I am not happy having to spend a big chunk of my time in a sterile-looking room. Here is the before pic:

We've done so much work and I gotta tell ya it feels great to finally have a room in our house completely finished! Yes, this is the first room in which we've accomplished everything we set out to do. We painted, put up crown moulding, installed beadboard, installed a laundry sink cabinet, replaced the light fixture, painted the cabinets, and added a bench and hook shelf to the space since this is the area between our garage and living room and I felt we needed some type of mud room for hanging jackets and taking off shoes. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and we definitely learned a lot about home improvement along the way! Here is an after shot:

For tonight I'm going to be a tease and just leave you with one picture ;) I'll post more along with details about our project later in the week so be sure to check back!
